General Level Classes
For students with some Iyengar Yoga experience
Our General Level Classes are designed for students who have already developed some familiarity with Iyengar Yoga, either through attending our Begin Yoga Classes or through previous Iyengar study.
In these classes, the practice of asana is explored in greater depth. Postures are approached methodically, with clear instruction that helps students refine their understanding of alignment and action within each pose. Through this process, students develop greater awareness of how the body, breath, and mind work together in practice.
Over time, this careful approach cultivates sensitivity within the muscles, bones, ligaments, and fascia, allowing the practice to become more stable, precise, and integrated.
New to Iyengar Yoga?
If you are completely new to Iyengar Yoga, we recommend beginning with our Begin Yoga Classes. These classes introduce the foundational principles of the method in a structured and supportive way.
If you have experience in other styles of yoga, you may not necessarily need to start from the beginning. We encourage you to contact the studio before attending, and we will help guide you toward the most appropriate class.
